Jayne Apperley

Having graduated from the Buckinghamshire University College in 1996, Jayne worked with many glassmakers throughout the country before setting up her own studio at Wetheriggs, on the edge of the Lake District in 2003.

Jayne’s distinctive collection of contemporary studio glass is entirely handmade, using a variety of hot and cold glass techniques. Her work includes functional objects for everyday use, one-off and sculptural pieces, corporate gifts and trophies.

Due to each piece being created individually, it is possible to respond to an individuals design themes. Jayne welcomes commissions and is happy to discuss ideas from small personal pieces to production runs.
